PyLoN is a controller free, low-temperature cooled CCD camera designed specifically for applications requiring ultra-high sensitivity quantitative scientific imaging. Princeton Instruments has redesigned its industry-leading VersArray system: the camera eliminates the need for an external controller, increases experimental flexibility, and further improves the performance of ultra-low noise electronic devices. Liquid nitrogen cooling almost eliminates dark current. PyLoN has ADC rates ranging from 50 KHz to 4 MHz, with digital bias stability and related dual sampling capabilities, which can reduce read noise and improve linearity. In addition, the eXcelon exclusive to Princeton Instruments in the United States ® The technology provides the highest responsivity from ultraviolet to near-infrared, while suppressing interference fringes that occur in standard backlit CCDs.
